“How was your day at summer camp Sprout?”

“It was good. I played with Luke. But a big girl was calling me names.”

“Oh yeah?”

“Yeah, she kept calling me adopted.”

“I’m not adopted am I mommy?”

  3. Oh, Sprout. First of all, that’s not an insult. Secondly, I am sure you handled that with the same grace with which you seem to handle everything else.

  4. What a great “name” to be called. Of course, as we know all too well, this is an awkward place to be. The transition is hardest of all. The waiting and not knowing and wondering and feeling anchorless… In our experience the day termination was complete we had a new boy. Of course, you know what follows… Blessings to Sprout.
